About FTP

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and is an efficient way to send large files across the Internet. You can send files by FTP using a Web Browser like Internet Explorer, or a special kind of program called an FTP Client like Fetch.

To send files to The Perfect Wedding Guide:

Click on this link: ftp://artwork.thepwg.ca@thepwg.ca or open your web browser and type the link into the address bar near the top. When you go to the FTP site you will be asked to enter some information:
Your Username is: artwork.thepwg.ca
Your Password is: upload
Drag or copy the files you want to send into the folder named “Upload here”.

If you are using an FTP Client program, enter the following information:
ADDRESS: ftp.thepwg.ca
USERNAME: artwork.thepwg.ca
PASSWORD: upload
DIRECTORY: Upload here
If you are using a Macintosh you must use FTP client software.
